Ssshh! Don’t tell the grandparents, but they’re getting a beautiful artwork for Christmas from these Gold Coast first responder families.
With two opportunities to make the perfect piece through the skill of acrylic paint pouring, participants were able to get creative with colours, mixing and patterns.
There was lots of laughter through the afternoon, especially when one of the kids showed her dad that she had painted both of her hands blue!
It was great to see that, by the end, everyone was impressed with (and some surprised by) their artistic efforts.
It was wonderful to see all the participants connecting with other families as they shared similar experiences in learning a new creative skill.
