Dumplings and spring rolls on the menu in virtual cooking class

Excitement levels were high for 18 Victorian first responder families, who had been looking forward to their online cooking class all week. For some, it was their first online cooking workshop and they were keen to see how it would all work.

With Chef Malcolm from Melbourne restaurant BangPop at the helm, first responder families learnt to cook dumplings and spring rolls.

The anticipation was certainly matched with the fun had, as the families cooked alongside each other with lots of laughter and chatting.

And the best part was when everyone showed off their results – delicious food to enjoy together – at the end.

All participants received the ingredients, delivered to their doors, ahead of time, as well as a handbook to keep so they can cook more delicious dumplings and spring rolls.
