First responders enjoyed a recent day out with family and friends, meeting new people and taking in the sights of some furry critters.
It was a great way to enjoy a few hours of family time, wandering around Symbio Wildlife Park with a park map and some wildlife feed in hand.
All of the two dozen participants met back at the farmyard animal picnic area for lunch and some light refreshments. This gave everyone a chance to chat and meet new people.
This is something that everyone loves about Fortem activities. The chance to meet others who do similar jobs or volunteering roles, families creating friendships with other first responder families, and families spending time together to bond – these are important parts of what we do.
The children in particular had a blast seeing and learning about emus, meerkats, cheetahs, and more!
