Almost 40 members of the first responder community in the Gold Coast region had a great time at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
The behind the scenes tour took the families through the wildlife hospital where they learned about all the amazing things that Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is doing for the animals.
Participants also enjoyed VIP seating at the Wild Skies Free Flight Bird Show, where they saw everything from wild eagles, to owls to a magpie perform in free flight, all while learning about the Aboriginal culture and history of these animals.
And children and adults alike soared above the animals as they succeeded at the challenging high ropes course.
Best of all, it was a fabulous chance for families to have fun together, laugh, share new challenges, and connect.
