Art Workshop | Townsville

July 13 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm AEST

Free
Mandala Art Class | Virtual

Create an exciting Abstract self-portrait using emotional marks, colour and shapes on A3 water quality paper.

This workshop will take you on an exploration of mark-making and how to apply your marks to a sense of who you are. “Marks” is a term to describe the different lines, patterns and textures we create in a piece of art. We all have an individual and unique way of making marks. In this three-hour workshop you will discover your own significant emotional marks. These marks will become the foundation for an art work on A3 paper which will reflect your inner self.

Participants do not require any art experience.

This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out who we serve). Register yourself, and up to one other person aged 16 and over.

All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing. Created by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, this is a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to improving our overall mental fitness.
