Great Illawarra Walk I Illawarra
March 12 @ 6:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
First responder families, join us on The Great Illawarra Walk! This is a stunning 40km walk which takes us through incredible scenery and and raises funds for Vanishing White Matter Disease through the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute. Join for any or all of the walk to support children worldwide, including local girls Chloe Saxby and Holly Burns. The walk begins in Shellharbour with the final leg bringing us to Austinmer. Walkers can celebrate at a local venue through the afternoon. Please wear good walking shoes and be sun smart.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out Who We Serve here). Register individually, or with up to one other adult (your partner, family member or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too. Minimum age 16.
