Lunchtime Fitness Sessions | Virtual
16/11/2021 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pmFree
Keep up your strength and fitness through lockdown with this 6 week group fitness sessions online. Run by Fortem’s very own exercise physiologist, sessions will focus on building strength, coordination and fitness – no equipment necessary. A great opportunity to connect with your strength – and with other first responders. Sessions will run weekly for 6 weeks.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out Who We Serve here). Register individually, or with up to one other adult (your partner, family member or someone from your inner circle – minimum age 16). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too. While the goal is for participants to commit to these weekly fitness sessions to gain maximum benefit, there is flexibility for shift workers and on-call volunteers. You will need to bring a towel, water bottle and have closed in shoes and exercise clothes.
Fortem is an official partner of The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s 5 Ways to Wellbeing – connect, be active, keep learning, be mindful, and help others. These strategies are integrated into all our activities, events, and programs to highlight the benefits of incorporating simple lifestyle changes to your day to day.
Register your interest to attend by submitting the form below. This is a small group activity with limited numbers. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team.
