Monthly Walk | Melbourne

March 1 @ 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Activity (See all)

An event every month that begins at 12:15 pm on day First of the month, repeating until 06/04/2022

Free

First responders, enjoy some fresh air and gentle exercise during your lunch break in a monthly walk. Bring your colleagues and enjoy a 40 minute walk which will be based outside the airport. This is a great opportunity to have a break, meet other first responders based in the area, and get outdoors. Refreshments will be provided afterwards. This activity is suitable for most levels of fitness. Participants should wear appropriate walking shoes, sun protection, and bring a water bottle.

This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out Who We Serve here). Register individually, or with up to one other adult (your partner, family member or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too.

All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing – a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to our overall mental fitness. This model by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is based on widely researched, effective strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, and forms the foundation of all Fortem Australia events, programs, and activities.

Please register your interest in attending this activity by submitting the registration form. Note, registration is not complete until you receive confirmation by email from the Fortem team.

If no registration form appears on this page the activity is at capacity but you can register to be on the waitlist by emailing us at activities@fortemaustralia.org.au
