First responder families, join us for a weekly yoga class – held online so you can join from the comfort of home! Classes will run for 4 weeks and are designed to encourage an uplifted and calm feeling in the body and mind. You can attend one class or all four, just register for the weeks you would like to attend.
These is open to all fitness and flexibility levels, and children are more than welcome to join in. The focus of the class is to move mindfully with your breath, relieve muscle tension, improve joint range of movement, and calm the nervous system. The experienced yoga instructor will support participants in learning yoga postures that are simple, and designed to flow at a pace that is easy to follow. An instructor from Frontline Yoga will be taking the class. Frontline Yoga offers best practice guidance on the delivery of Yoga to the First Responders, Emergency Services and Military Veteran community.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out Who We Serve here). Register individually, or with up to one other adult and three (your partner, family member or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too.
