Get your taste buds fired up with this series of amazingly delicious BBQ cooking classes, for first responder families in the Canberra Region. A great way to build meaningful social connections with your partner or family, as well as engaging with other first responders families. Group cooking programs have been associated with a positive influence on a range of psychosocial factors including self-esteem, social interaction, quality of life, psychological wellbeing and reduction in anxiety.
Register for one, two, three or all four of the following classes:
Class 1 – Oct 31st – BBQ Meat – How to master roasts and cook the perfect steak.
Class 2 – Nov 7th – South American Churrasco BBQ – Cooking over solid fuel with dishes from South America’s finest BBQ nations including Brazil, Argentina and Peru.
Class 3 – Dec 5th – American Smoking BBQ – Learn all the tips to mastering the Low and Slow American-style BBQ including brisket, pork ribs and jalapeno poppers.
Class 4 – Dec 12th – BBQ seafood – Christmas lunch menu.
This activity is free for first responder families. Children can be registered as part of a family, minimum age 16 years.
