Northern NSW first responder families, join us for an incredible experience on a beach weekend escape! You will get to enjoy beach yoga, a private surf lesson, swimming and walking on the beach, a tour of the lighthouse, tour a local organic farm, maybe ride into town to go shopping or relax by the pool, plus a chance to support the local community by taking part in a ‘clean up the beach’ activity. This wellbeing activity includes 2 nights accommodation and some meals. Starts Friday 9th April at 2pm, ends Sunday 11th April at 2pm.
This is an opportunity to spend time with your partner, developing bonds as you connect, be active, keep learning, be mindful and help others. It’s a great chance to learn skills to support your wellbeing and build your metal fitness. It’s also a great way to connect and socialise with other local first responder families. Broadening your social networks and range of relationships with others in the wider community, is also important for your wellbeing.
This activity is free for first responder families (find out about eligibility here). Adults only. You will need to arrange your own transport to the location in Byron Bay. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team.
