Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class January | Northern NSW
First responder families from the Tweed or Northern NSW areas, join us for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class in January to get active, get connected and learn a new skill. Martial arts are a great exercise to improve and maintain physical health, and relieve stress, for your mental fitness. Plus learning a new skill has been correlated with positive effects on well-being! Group fitness classes are a great way to connect and socialise with other local first responders, to boost your social well-being by broadening social networks and range of relationships with others in the wider community.
Children below the age of 15 and adult groups will not be mixed while training. Wear comfortable exercise clothes, bring a towel and water bottle. Coffee and morning tea will be provided afterwards.
This activity is free for first responder families. Suitable for children aged 4 years and over, when being registered as part of a family. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited numbers. Register now to secure your place. Note registration is not confirmed until Fortem sends a confirmation email. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
