Crafts of Random Kindness | West Gippsland
Do you love being creative and helping or encouraging others? This activity is for those who would enjoy an opportunity to use your creativity while giving a small gift of encouragement as a random act of kindness to another first responder family. You may use your existing skills, learn new crafting skills and even have the opportunity to teach others your crafting skill. We’ll start with card making and using calligraphy to write notes of encouragement, and over the weeks we’ll explore other crafting ideas, dependent on the interests of the group.
A great way to connect with local first responder families whilst you craft, helpful while making new friends and developing a support network. Crafting can also be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.
This free activity is for first responder families. Suitable for adults. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
