Port Macquarie first responder families, join us on this Deep Sea Fishing Charter wellbeing activity in August. With quality bait, fishing gear and licencing provided, this is a great chance to get out on the water and connect with your family member and other first responder families. Social connection, being in nature, and learning new skills have all been shown to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals. This fishing charter combines these key areas, creating an opportunity for first responders to detach from the stresses and responsibilities of everyday life. Developing close relationships and socialising with friends, family and others, is important for good health and wellbeing.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility here). Suitable for two adults, or an adult registering with a teenager, minimum age 16. Brunch, tea, coffee and water are included. The service provider also offers to clean your catch and bag it for your convenience, free recipes and cooking advice plus fully operational toilet with soap and running water, free parking & pick up. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team.
