First Responder Family Members Forum February | Virtual
Family members we want to hear your voice! We are keen to extend our understanding of your experiences of living alongside first responders. This session is for the partners, parents or adult children of serving personnel who worked during the 19-20 bushfire season. You will have the opportunity to discuss the job, the lifestyle, the associated challenges of your family, and to build on the ways in which Fortem Australia can offer services to improve on wellbeing and mental fitness for you and your family members. We highly value your voices which shape our work and periodically run these sessions to ensure we are aligned with the needs of the community we serve (you!)
This is a two part commitment. Upon registering you will be emailed a link to complete a pre-forum survey, then the virtual forum will take place via video meeting (zoom) on Thursday 25th February.
This activity is for family members of first responders involved in the Black Summer bushfires, including personnel from:
- Fire and Rescue
- State Emergency Services
- Rural Fire Service
- Rural Fire Brigades
- Country Fire Authority
- Police
- Ambulance
- Forest Fire Management Victoria
Giving us your time in this way will help inform the activities and support services we offer you, your family and your peers. Your help can make a difference to us and your community.
