Family Day at the Goat Farm | Bega Valley
Bring the kids to meet the kids! First responder families from the Bega Valley area will be able to come and hang out on a working angora goat farm – meet the baby goats (with potential for bottle feeding) enjoy a free sausage sizzle and take in the beautiful surrounds. Participants will have the opportunity to benefit from ‘unplugging’ from daily life to spend time in nature, interacting with animals, learning about farm life and connecting with other first responder families. It’s a great way to spend time with your family, developing family bonds which are important for good health and wellbeing protective factors.
BYO picnic blanket and sturdy, closed in shoes are a must. Sausage sizzle lunch will be provided. Please submit dietary requirements on the registration form. All ages can attend the activity, but children must be supervised.
This activity is free for first responder families. This activity is weather dependent. Participants will be contacted if the activity needs to be rescheduled due to the weather. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
Register now. Please note that registration is not complete until you receive confirmation from the Fortem team.
