Family Mindful Art Practice on World Mental Health Day | Virtual
Have you ever wanted to try art as a way to be more mindful? Join Helen from ARTea Art School for a mindful art practice on World Mental Health Day, 10th October 2020. This activity is an introduction to mindfulness, around colour, mood and feelings. Mindfulness practices are a health approach to coping with stress, decreasing worry anxiety and depression and increase self awareness.
This activity is free for all first responder families (eligibility here). Suitable for all skill levels. Upon registration, participants will be provided with the zoom link to join these sessions. You will need a reliable internet connection with a device capable of supporting Zoom video conferencing. Participants can use whatever media they have at home (crayons, oil pastels, pens, paint).
