Weekly Fitness Training and Wellness Program | West Gippsland
West Gippsland first responder families, are you ready to get physically and mentally fit? Join us for a 50 minute fitness session, combining strength and endurance exercises, followed by a 40 minute wellness session focusing on basic yoga, meditation and breathing techniques. This weekly fitness training & wellness program is suitable for all levels of fitness. Fitness classes help by improving & maintaining physical health and relieving stress and tension for your mental fitness, plus this activity will help you to connect with your first responder community and learn useful mindfulness techniques to improve your wellbeing.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (eligibility here). The activity is suitable for adults. You can register an additional adult, or teenager aged 16 years or over, from your family to attend with you. You will need to bring a towel, water bottle and have closed in shoes and exercise clothes. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
