
Indoor Plant Masterclass | Bega Valley
If you’re into indoor plants, or thinking of acquiring some, this indoor plant masterclass is for you! Come and enjoy a laid back evening with other first responder families, learning the basics of indoor plant care – from watering and fertilising, to repotting and propagating, and everything in between. You’ll not only learn how to keep your plant friends alive – after this class you’ll know how to help them thrive!
With indoor gardening growing in popularity, there is a growing number of scientific studies that demonstrate the positive impact indoor plants have on our health and wellbeing – reducing stress levels, lifting mood, improving air quality, boosting productivity and much more. This small group class is a also great way to connect with others while learning skills that can help to create a calmer, healthier plant-filled home or office. Coming together to learn new skills in a social environment helps strengthen your relationships and build resilience in families and communities. Learning new skills can offer you a challenge and, after the activity, a sense of accomplishment.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility here). All equipment is provided. A light dinner and complimentary plant friend is included. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
