Introduction to Navigating Blended Families | Virtual
Join us for a virtual workshop for first responder families on common topics that arise in navigating blended families. Our expert facilitator will lead discussions on what helps a blended family function smoothly, including:
- Respect/Positive Role Modelling
- What do children need
- Tips for a healthy blended family
You will need a reliable internet connection with a device capable of supporting Zoom video conferencing. You will be sent a link when your registration is confirmed.
This activity helps to develop close relationships with your family. Family cohesion is important in building protective factors for mental health and wellbeing. It’s also a great way to connect, virtually, with other blended families who also understand the added dimension of being a first responder family!
