Join us for an interactive Italian Cooking Class ending with a delicious dinner, eating the food you just made & enjoying the chance to connect. This cooking class is great way to build meaningful social connections with your partner or family, as well as engaging with other first responders families. Having a shared experience in learning a new skill or developing an existing skill can give you a sense of achievement, build confidence and be fun! Group cooking programs have been associated with a positive influence on a range of psychosocial factors including self-esteem, social interaction, quality or life, psychological wellbeing, and reduction in anxiety.

This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility here). Suitable for adults, or an adult registering with a teenager, minimum age 16. Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes and have long hair tied back. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
