The Little Adventurer is a monthly group that has amazing adventures around the local area together. In April, join us to visit to the wildlife park! It’s an activity for families with kids aged 0 to 6 years old, who love animals, nature and exploring the great outdoors. Meet all your favourite Australian animals as well as cheetahs, ring-tailed lemurs, red pandas, meerkats, small monkeys and many more. You can even feed and interact with the large mob of kangaroos.
It is a great opportunity for first responder families to get out and explore the local area, be active and make connections with their own, as well as other families, contributing to the development of close family relationships and help building social connections. Walking is a means of improving and maintaining physical health, improving sleep patterns and relieving stress for your mental health. Nature is the perfect classroom. It provides endless opportunities for students and children to learn about the real world in meaningful ways.
This activity is free for first responder families. Aimed at children aged 0 to 6. Included is entry to the wildlife park and one packet of animal feed per person. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive confirmation by email from the Fortem team.
