Illawarra area first responder families are invited to a series of workshops to learn about macrame in the school holidays! Each week participants will learn how to make a different piece of macrame. Macrame pieces will include 2 styles of plant hangers, halo wall hanger, a set of 4 placemats. It’s a great activity to do with your kids plus you can connect with other local first responder families. Learning a new craft skill is great for your wellbeing, and crafting can be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.
This activity is free for first responder families. Children aged 8 and above can be registered as part of a family. Tuition and all materials will be provided, plus morning tea. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited numbers. Register now to secure your place. Note registration is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from the Fortem team. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
