Canberra region first responder families are invited to a series of two hour workshops over 3 weeks to progressively work on a large macrame wall hanging that each person will keep at the end of the workshop. You will learn the art of macrame whilst connecting with other local first responder families. Learning a new craft skill is great for your wellbeing, and crafting can be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.
Class dates 27th March, 10th April and 24th April. You will need to attend all 3 classes.
This activity is free for first responder families. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team.
