About the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course
The training will help the participants identify the signs that their loved one may not be travelling so well, and how to provide that much needed support and assistance. The training also teaches participants how to assist in crisis situations, such as suicidal thoughts and behaviours, panic attacks and traumatic events.
Since its inception in 2000, more than 900,000 Australians have completed the course. The skills taught in the course are best practice, evidence based, and the course itself is evaluated regularly to ensure that the information being taught is the most up to date information. Please find out more information from Insight Canberra who provide the training.
