Monthly S.U.P. May | Illawarra
Illawarra region first responder families, come and try stand up paddle boarding to keep fit, connect and stay active! Try something new or further develop the skills you have, plus you can improve or maintain a healthy level of physical fitness, both of which can assist with building wellness, resilience and ways of coping with stress. SUP is a low impact exercise activity, which helps to work the entire body. It’s an exercise in strength and endurance that requires almost every element of the body to cooperate and pull its weight. It’s also a great way to be active and connect with your partner, or adult family member, and other local first responders and their partners
This will become a casual monthly catch-up, where we can experience different type of fitness using a Stand Up Paddle Board, including SUP Fit, SUP Pilates, SUP Yogafit, SUP Ball, Tours and more. No experience needed. The provider teaches and coaches paddling technique so you can become a better paddler. They offer flat water enclosed locations.
