Online Greek Cooking Class 27th June | Melbourne
Join us for an online cooking class where you can master Greek spanakopita and tiropita (cheese or spinach filo pie) and kourambiethes (almond shortbread biscuits covered in icing sugar). It’s a great way to build meaningful social connections with your partner or family member, plus interact and socialise, virtually, with other first responder families. Having a shared experience in learning a new skill or developing an existing skill can have a positive effect on wellbeing, and help build your mental fitness. Plus cooking has been identified as a mindful activity, allowing participants to be immersed in the present moment whilst focusing on their food creations.
This online cooking class will be delivered by Zoom meeting, so you will need a reliable internet connection and a device, such as your smartphone, tablet or laptop, capable of supporting Zoom video conferencing.
Please note, ingredients will be NOT be provided for this activity. No ingredients will be delivered or posted for this class. You will be sent a recipe in advance, and participants must provide the ingredients for the class themselves.
