First responder families, join us for a resin cheeseboard class. A great introduction to resin crafting, you will learn how to mix, colour and pour resin to create a resin decorated cheese board that you can keep or gift! Plus it’s a great way to connect with other local first responder families, as well as develop bonds if you choose to bring someone from your family or kinship group. This Fortem activity can help improve self-esteem and contribution to self-identity through mental and physical stimulation provided by working on crafting project. Crafting can be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility). All materials, tuition and a refreshment on arrival are included. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
