Join us for a resin cheeseboard class for first responder families from the Port Macquarie area. A great introduction to resin crafting, you will learn how to mix, colour and pour resin to create a resin decorated cheese board that you can keep or gift! Plus it’s a great way to connect with other local first responder families, as well as develop bonds with your partner or teenage family member. This Fortem activity can help improve self-esteem and contribution to self-identity through mental and physical stimulation provided by working on crafting project. Crafting can be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.

This activity is free for first responder families. This class is recommended for adults, but a teenager aged 15+ may be registered to attend with you. All materials, tuition and a refreshment on arrival are included

Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.

This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity by 11th January using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team. There is also another class available on the 18th January if that date is preferable.
