Turn your next cheese platter into a masterpiece with your very own resin enhanced serving board. You’ll learn the tools and techniques to turn your creativity into a beautiful object you’ll be proud to show off at your next dinner party! The resin cheeseboard workshop is a great introduction to resin crafting, you will learn what resin in, how to mix, colour and pour resin to create a resin decorated cheese board that you can keep or perfect to give as a gift.
This wellbeing activity is a great way to connect with other local first responder families, as well as develop bonds with your partner, another adult from your kinship group or teenage family member. This Fortem activity can help improve self-esteem and contribution to self-identity through mental and physical stimulation provided by working on crafting project. Crafting can be a mindful activity, allowing you to be ‘in the moment’ while creating your project and achieving a sense of accomplishment.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility). Suitable for adults, or for adult registering themselves, along with a teenager 16+. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
