Bega Valley first responder families, join us on this free Sports Fishing Charter wellbeing activity off the coast of Eden. With live bait, fishing gear and licencing provided, this is a great chance to get out on the water and catch up with other first responders. Social connection, being in nature, and learning new skills have all been shown to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals. This fishing charter combines these three key areas, creating an opportunity for first responders to detach from the stresses and responsibilities of everyday life.
This activity is a great way to connect and socialise with your family and other local first responder families. Developing close relationships and socialising with friends, family and others, is important for good health and wellbeing. Broadening your social networks and range of relationships with others in the wider community, is also important for your wellbeing.
This activity is free for first responder families (check eligibility here). Morning tea, tea and coffee are included, but you will need to BYO lunch. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited places available, so please submit your interest to attend this activity using the form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email from the Fortem activities team.
