Join us for an awesome evening of Ten Pin Bowling and wood-fired pizza for dinner! This free wellbeing activity is a great way to spend time with your family or kinship group, be active, learn some new skills and develop close family bonds. It’s also great to connect and socialise with other local first responder families. Developing close relationships and socialising with friends, family and others, is important to build your mental fitness and boost your wellbeing. The sport of tenpin bowling provides physical and mental health benefits through exercise and social interaction. It is a skill based sport that promotes ongoing progression opportunities, with a focus on general fitness, movement and targeting skills, whilst developing motor skills such as coordination and balance.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility here: Who We Support). Suitable for adults and teenagers, minimum age 16. Included: 2 games of bowling and shoe hire, plus a selection of woodfired pizzas, served at the lanes while bowling. No experience needed. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
