A super fun and sweaty dance fitness class with classic Jane Fonda moves and all your favourite 80’s & 90’s music. After an energising cardio warm up you will learn a variety of retro moves as well as an easy dance routine. This family friendly 60 min class is suitable for beginners and no previous dance experience required.
This energetic activity allows participants to connect with their families by spending family time together, as well as learning a fun new skill. Adult learning has been correlated with positive effects on well-being, reports of life satisfaction, optimism and efficacy. Dance also supports physical fitness, with regular physical activity resulting in a greater sense of wellbeing, stress reduction and lower rates of anxiety.
This activity is free for first responder families (eligibility here). Upon registration, participants will be provided with the zoom link to join these sessions. Participants receive zoom link prior to class so please register an email address that you will have access to from your home. You will need a reliable internet connection with a device capable of supporting Zoom video conferencing.
