Walking Group South Sydney | Sydney
Join us for a walk in the south Sydney area, followed by a complimentary cup of coffee and social chat to finish. Walking is a means of improving and maintaining physical health, improving sleep patterns and relieving stress for your mental health. It can help lift mood through improved fitness and the release of natural chemicals in the brain . This walking activity is also a great way to connect and socialise with other local first responders, to boost your social well-being by broadening social networks and range of relationships with others in the wider community.
This activity is free for first responder families. Please bring sensible footwear and sun protection. The walk will go for approximately 1 to 1.5 hrs. The walk is along a cement beachfront path which is suitable for most abilities. The walk also has 1 set of about 15 stairs. There is a carpark located right next to the club where you can park. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
