Family Day at Wildlife Sanctuary | Gold Coast
This activity has reached capacity. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest for future activities, or sign up to our monthly Fortem Connect newsletter to stay up to date with Fortem activities, announcements and advice.
First responder families from the Gold Coast area, join us at the Wildlife Sanctuary from 9am, when you will be briefed about all of the animals and attractions that you can see at the park. You will then be given a ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of the Wildlife Sanctuary, which takes 25 minutes. This will be followed by morning tea.
This activity is a great way to spend time with your family, be active, learn about the wildlife and develop family bonds. It’s also great to connect and socialise with other local first responder families. Developing close relationships and socialising with friends, family and others, is important for good health and wellbeing. Broadening your social networks and range of relationships with others in the wider community, is also important for your wellbeing.
This activity is free for first responder families. Morning tea is provided. Suitable for all aged children when being registered as part of a family. This activity is weather dependent. Participants will be contacted if the activity needs to be rescheduled due to the weather. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
This is a small group activity with limited numbers. Note registration is not confirmed until Fortem sends a confirmation email. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
