Wok Cookery Class | Gold Coast
Join us for an interactive Wok Cookery Class ending with a delicious dinner in the dining room where you will be eating the food you make while connecting with each other. You will also be given the recipe cards to take home with you. This cooking class is great way to build meaningful social connections with your partner or family, as well as engaging with other first responders families. Having a shared experience in learning a new skill or developing an existing skill can give you a sense of achievement, build confidence and be fun!
Group cooking programs have been associated with a positive influence on a range of psychosocial factors including self-esteem, social interaction, quality or life, psychological wellbeing, and reduction in anxiety.
This activity is free for first responder families. Participants must be minimum age 16 years. All equipment and ingredients are provided. Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes and have long hair tied back.
