World Chocolate Day Cooking Class | West Gippsland
It’s World Chocolate Day! Join us for this delicious cooking class, a chance to connect and bond with your partner, family member or an adult from your kinship group, over a new experience, while learning practical skills in the kitchen. Learning new skills and working on a cooking project gives you an opportunity to challenge yourself, support each other, and share in accomplishments. Cooking can encourage you to be mindful as you concentrate on presentation and new techniques, allowing you to block out worries and reduce stress. It’s also a great way to connect with other first responder families, to help to build social connections. Social connection supports mental health and wellbeing.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check eligibility here). Adults only. Register yourself, plus you can bring along your partner, someone from your kinship group, or encourage a first responder colleague to register too. Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly. Restrictions apply in line with current COVID regulations.
