An exciting opportunity to attend a free wellbeing activity for first responders and their families from Marine Rescue. You can explore the forest and the wild banks of the local river or head further afield on a guided walk to discover wonderful waterfalls and pools or to the great strangling fig tree! Cool off in the Summer heat in one of our beautiful, big swimming holes or keep cosy in the Winter beside the fire. Search for the native wildlife, from the cheeky possums, abundant birdlife and noisy frogs to the shy wallabies, stealthy goanas and elusive platypi.

It’s a great way to not only be active, but a chance to develop family bonds and socialise with other local first responders, to help build your mental fitness.

This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families from a select agency only. Participants will need to arrange their own transport to the location.

Fortem is currently monitoring COVID guidelines closely and may reschedule this event and notify participants accordingly.
