Fortem has partnered with public relations agency MediaCast to help boost gratitude for first responders this Thank a First Responder Day, to be held on Wednesday 11 June.
Each year, MediaCast runs Pro Bono for Purpose, a program that supports charity organisations to boost an important cause. Fortem’s Thank a First Responder Day was selected for the program this year.
Thank a First Responder Day is a national day of gratitude that encourages the community to say thank you to the more than 370,000 first responders who are there for us when we need them the most. It also aims to raise awareness of the trauma that first responders and their families can face as a result of that work.
“We are delighted to be partnering with MediaCast for Thank a First Responder Day 2025 and look forward to making this year’s campaign our biggest yet,” Fortem’s Director of Communications, Marketing and Fundraising, Georgie Wells said.
“Planning is well underway and we have some exciting new initiatives we will announce soon.
“I have no doubt that with MediaCast’s support, we can magnify our messages of gratitude right across the country.”
