Supporting life after service: Fortem’s new CMP retirement workshop
A dedicated wellness centre for first responders and their families will soon open in Perth, Western Australia, and will be the first facility of its kind in Australia.
The Fortem Wellbeing Hub in Victoria Park is set to open its doors in March 2025, marking a significant milestone in the support and care for our nation’s first responders.
This unique facility will offer an innovative model of service delivery designed to support current and former first responders along with their families. It will be a safe and supportive environment where these individuals and their loved ones can access the mental health and wellbeing services they need and deserve.
Services will include clinical support, health and fitness, career coaching, wellbeing and social connection activities.
The Hub will be operated by Fortem Australia, the nation’s leading independent and not-for-profit provider of mental health and wellbeing support for first responders and their families.
It has been made possible through the generosity of Perth businessman and philanthropist Mark Iriks, Mindbody Lounge, and other like-minded organisations that recognise the importance of providing a holistic model of care to our first responder community. Their support has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
