Donate this tax time to support first responders

Tax deductible donations made to Fortem Australia this tax time reduce your taxable income while supporting the mental health and wellbeing of first responders and their families.

All business and individual donations of $2 and over made to Fortem are tax deductible, and help Fortem provide clinical, social connection and career management services to more first responders and their families across Australia.

It also helps expand Fortem’s library of mental health literacy resources which provide critical tools for boosting wellbeing and enhancing resilience.

Being a first responder can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be traumatic, distressing and dangerous, and this can impact the wellbeing of our first responders and their families.

With Thank a First Responder Day to take place next month, you can say thanks by helping Fortem to support the mental health and wellbeing of first responders and their families.

Since it was established in 2019, Fortem has directly supported almost 20,000 individuals with a range of early intervention and preventative mental health services.

“As a not-for-profit organisation, Fortem relies on grants, funding partnerships and the generosity of donors to continue its important work,” CEO of Fortem Australia, Michael Willing APM said.

“Your donation to Fortem helps us support more first responders and their families, helping to boost their ability to support the communities in which they live and work.

“It also allows us to expand our services to more first responders and their families, including in regional and remote areas through our community outreach program.”
