Hundreds of crocheted ‘triple zero with heart’ keyrings will make their way to first responders and their families this June to share just how much we love what they do, thanks to the incredible ladies at the Country Women’s Association.
They will be gifted to first responders as a token of gratitude for the incredible service and great sacrifice they and their families make in supporting the community.
The brilliant craftwork has been created as part of Thank a First Responder Day, a national day of gratitude to be held on Wednesday 11 June 2025, and the 10 days of gratitude that precede it.
Kylie Brown, a community engagement coordinator with Fortem Australia, crated the original crocheted keyring as a gift for local first responders, but was so pleased with the result, she enlisted the assistance of the Country Women’s Association in Castle Hill and Hawkesbury to create more.
To date, more than 1,000 keyrings have been created with more in production. We are so grateful to the Country Women’s Association for their support.
