Fortem is currently seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to help shape the future of Fortem’s services through the Outreach Program Working Group. The group will provide feedback, insights, and recommendations that reflect the real needs of first responder communities as Fortem continues to expand its services for first responders and their families.
About the Working Group
The Outreach Program Working Group is a collaborative forum designed to:
- Gather feedback on Fortem’s current services
- Identify emerging needs and service gaps
- Co-develop ideas for new initiatives
- Strengthen community connection and support
Who we’re looking for
We welcome expressions of interest from:
- Current first responders
- Former first responders
- Family members of first responders
- Fortem staff, volunteers and ambassadors with direct service experience·
We value diversity and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, regions, and lived experiences.
Commitment
- Meetings: Bi-monthly (every two months), hybrid format (in-person and virtual)
- Duration: 1.5 hours per meeting
- Term: Initial 6-month commitment, with opportunity to continue
