To become a supporter, an agreement is entered into that acknowledges the company/organisation’s support for first responders and their family members as they transition into their next employment, training, learning or volunteer opportunity.
When a company becomes a supporter they commit to:
- Adopting new strategies and processes that promote the recruitment of first responders and their family members.
- Developing strategies and processes that increase employment retention levels within the organisation for first responders and their family members.
- Create a culture that supports the Australian first responder community in your workplace by building knowledge, understanding and awareness of Fortem Australia and of the strengths and needs of the first responder community.
- Considering first responders and their family members as candidates for learning, training and/or volunteering opportunities.
- Actively promote Fortem Australia and our stories on your social media channels and internal networks.
- Consider sponsorship options, supporting our activities and advertising our Workplace Giving Program across your organisation.
