First Responder Day

Blacksmiths Public School is inviting the community to come together in a heartfelt show of appreciation for our first responders and their families.

Join the celebration as local first responders arrive with their emergency vehicles — and keep an eye (and ear!) out for a possible helicopter landing!

This event celebrates Thank a First Responder Day, a national day of appreciation organised by Fortem Australia recognising the dedication and sacrifice of first responders and their families. 

As Australia’s leading not-for-profit supporting first responder wellbeing, Fortem ensures that those who protect and serve our communities receive the gratitude and support they deserve. 

This event is open to the public, and we invite everyone to join us in showing appreciation for our first responders and their families.
