Join us for a Wood Burning class where you’ll learn how to design, burn and oil your cheeseboard!
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never burnt before. This 2hr DIY workshop is beginner-friendly and makes for a fun activity to do with friends, family or solo. The timber, handles, oiling, stencils, pencils, rubbers, and burning tools are all included in the lesson. All you have to bring is your own imagination and creative flair! Everything else is provided. You will get to take home your unique, one-of-a-kind handmade platter to enjoy or you can gift it to a loved one!
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out who we serve here). Register yourself, and up to one other adult or teenager ages 16 and over (your partner, family member, or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too, or make connections on the day.
All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing — a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to our overall mental fitness. This model by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is based on widely researched, effective strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, and forms the foundation of all Fortem Australia events, programs, and activities.
