In May 2023, Fortem Australia hosted the Beyond Brave virtual summit for members of the first responder community and those interested in their welfare. It was our third annual summit and a part of our mission to actively support improvements in the mental health, wellbeing, and resilience of first responders and their families.
The theme of the event ‘Beyond Brave’, opened up a conversation for leaders, staff, volunteers, and families connected to first responder and national security agencies to discuss what bravery and courage meant to them and share their personal stories.
