Physical endurance challenges raise $11,500 for Fortem 

Two first responders have raised over $11,500 for Fortem Australia, while also raising community awareness of first responder mental health and wellbeing. 

Police officer Todd Cremer and fire fighter Mike Kelly each set themselves an incredible challenge of physical endurance, with Todd conducting back-to-back live-streamed workout sessions over a 12-hour period in September and Mike running 160km over the Blue Mountains in approximately 30 hours in October. 

The men each wanted to shine a light on the mental health and wellbeing challenges that can come with first responder work, as well as the stress that can put on first responder families.  

They both successfully completed their challenges, with all funds raised going towards Fortem’s work supporting the first responders and their families. 

Fortem would like to thank Mike and Todd for their incredible contributions to first responder mental health. 

Fortem also thanks the many people who generously donated funds to Mike’s and Todd’s appeals.
