Couch to 5km Weekly Running Group | Melbourne

November 2, 2022 @ 7:30 am - 8:30 am AEDT

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Walking group

First responders, bring a partner or colleague and join our 9-week running group. Set along tranquil waters in the CBD, this weekly running group provides an excellent opportunity to meet other first responders, and enjoy a coffee or tea afterwards with other participants. To make it even more inclusive, you can also participate in a walking group or go for a longer more continuous run (approximately 5kms) if you’ve already completed the couch to 5km program or feel confident running that distance. Wet weather contingency plan too.

This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out Who We Serve here). Register individually, or with up to one other adult (your partner, family member or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too. Please note that if you have any health/ physical concerns, you must be approved by your GP to participate.

Fortem is an official partner of The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s 5 Ways to Wellbeing — connect, be active, keep learning, be present, and help others.
