Come an join us for a monthly art class!
Families will learn mindfulness and some new techniques. Parents need to supervise their little artist, this is welcome to everyone of all art abilities. You will learn drippy eye artwork, animal watercolour paintings, pop art family photo frames, pottery gingerbread house or Santa plates, neon style pastel artwork and Christmas craft over the course of this series.
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out who we serve here). Register yourself, and up to one other adult and up to two children aged 3 and over (your partner, children, family members, or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too, or make connections on the day.
All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing — a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to our overall mental fitness. This model by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is based on widely researched, effective strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, and forms the foundation of all Fortem Australia events, programs, and activities.
